REA has become an integral part of running our commercial real estate business. All of our contacts are entered and shared throughout the company on the REA network version. This allows us to manage our projects and collect everybody's activity for a project under one central report. This software also allows us to combine the tracking of property as well as contact management. It requires some training. Our experience is that it was best to have Tim Creagh come out and train for one or two days. This shortens the learning curve dramatically and provides for much less frustration in the process. The money spent on training will pay back very quickly with even a small office using collecting their contact information and their property information. I highly recommend this product.

I wanted to write you a brief note to let you know that we (Coldwell Banker Commercial American Spectrum) now launches 99% of all are correspondence and faxes through REA...with a few simple clicks of the mouse, we are able to create an historical record, not only on the specific client name that we wrote or spoke with, but as a logged history to the specific project(s) which we are working on. This allows us to be able to e-mail an itemized "Project Activity Report" to each of our clients at will, and for any specific period of time....what a tremendous tool...and easy to work.
One area that we really take advantage of in Retail Shopping Center leasing, is that we log all of our sign calls for all projects under a Project Activity Report that we entitled "Sign Calls"...this enables us to pull up a Sign Call Report for any period of time, and follow-up on these leads for various other centers. During the period of this last month alone, our Sign Call Report amounted to about 20 pages (inclusive of notes), which acquaints to about 80 prospects...this is a tremendous tool for leasing shopping centers. Additionally, most of the Multi Store chains are input into REA, and we can then pull them up by Company Name, Category, or numerous other criteria. Since our simple utilization of REA as a Retail Leasing Tool, I can personally keep four people busy (and productive making money), on the leads that formally just reached the Trash Can. Pretty exciting progress...thank you for all your efforts...REA is GREAT.

Our firm hired an intern for one full summer and populated both REA and other products with people and properties. We used them side by side for about 2 months. We chose REA without a hesitation. REA was found to be truly interrelational whereas others purported to be but actually were not. REA seamlessly connects people to multiple properties. While other systems are overlays on contact management data bases that were not designed to handle properties REA was designed from the ground up to handle Commercial Real Estate needs. We found many happy REA users but were only able to find unsatisfied customers for the other products. The training and support from REA has been excellent as well. I am not aware of another product on the market that will work any better for my business.

In our business time is of the essence. REA is so efficient and effective with a couple clicks it just makes me look grand and it's amazing versatility is incredible! My favorite feature is linking one database to another allowing me to display landlords, PM agents, owners, prospects, all within one screen. When I used Act I spent to much time scrolling or trying to customize it and still it lacked the capabilities I needed. I also found that after inputting a couple thousand contacts it was time very slow. REA simplifies everything and I have never had to get out a Manual. When I called for initial technical support I was amazed with the efficiency and patience's the techs had with me.

I have been using REA since I started in the business and have found it to be the best product out there. I talk to many agents who are using something else, but they always seem to be jealous when I tell them what REA can do. I hired an assistant six months ago and bought a laptop a month ago to increase my mobility. This however created some issues with synchronization that was foreign to me. I thought that I had a problem that could not be overcome at first. I will admit that the mistake made was totally mine. When I contacted the technical support department, I even stumped them though. When I make a mistake I do it right. They did not give up though. I was lead to Tim Creagh. Tim was leaving for a training seminar tour, so I thought that my issue would not be fixed for quite some time. I was wrong. Tim asked me to email my sync issue to him and he would work on it while on the road. The guy is incredible and very helpful. He not only worked on the issue during some very late hours, but was very patient with me. I now have a system that is fully sync friendly and thanks to Tim I did not lose any of my hours of input. REA and REA support deserve to dominate the market with that sort of customer service. GO REA. You will always get my recommendation.

After using a number of other contact management databases for real-estate, including ones that are add ons to ACT, I have found REA to be the Best. I spent a number of months configuring and importing data into a real-estate contact management program that was an ACT add-on designed for commercial real-estate. While it did allow me to add more fields to its various screens, that was about its only plus. You see, once I loaded the properties into the database and tried to do a basic search it would just sit there for 20 minutes until I shut it down and re-booted. Oh and load times were painfully slow, too.
In REA I can use its pre-configured imports or do a custom import of my own liking. REA has links to Loopnet, Efax, built in e-mailing, and the ability to link to outside documents. You can have multiple sales comps linked to your property, which can link to multiple owners, agents, and even link to vendors, thereby giving you the ability to keep everyone at your fingertips who is involved in your sales transactions. And most of all it is fast. I have over 15000 properties imported and searches take a few short seconds. Fast, stable, and designed from the ground up for commercial real-estate.
